Chitika | Premium is new advertising product of Chitika Publisher Program for Chitika publishers to maximize Chitika publishers’ earnings. Chitika announced Chitika | Premium ad product on 7^th April 2008. After one month (7^th May 2008) later, Chitika officially launched Chitika | Premium product for publishers who want to earn more revenue. As we already know that most of Internet Companies and Advertisers are interested to advertise in United States (US) because majority part of Internet based Companies’ sales are generated in United States and Canada. Advertisers give first preference to United Sates. This type of advertising is very common in all Internet Advertising Companies including Chitika.

Similarly, Internet Advertisers dare to offer more Cost Per Click (CPC) rate for their advertisers’ campaigns. The Cost Per Click rate in United States is very higher than other countries. Chitika shows Geographic based advertisements in every country. Similarly, Chitika decided to separate United States advertisers’ Campaigns from entire ad gallery by introducing new advertising product. This product is now popularly called as Chitika | Premium. Chitika | Premium product is almost similar to the Chitika | eMiniMalls. Chitika | eMiniMalls can serve advertisements in all locations but Chitika | Premium product only serves advertisements only in United States.

You are seeing Chitika | Premium ad unit preview. This ad unit contains two sections. First section shows list of Sponsored links and other section shows a Search Engine which searches entire Chitika Ad Gallery. Similarly, this ad unit labeled with Chitika | Premium name. Most of Advertising companies offer limited number of ad units for their publishers but Chitika offers 23 different ad formats. Each and every Chitika ad format looks like as shown in above screen but width and height are different. Chitika | Premium ads may not show best deals just like Chitika | eMiniMalls because Chitika | Premium shows multiple products in same ad format. That is why, Chitika | Premium may not show best deals.

I have already mentioned above that Chitika | Premium shows advertisements only for US website traffic. So, this program’s ad code may show blank space within websites in other countries. So, websites’ monetization may be affected but Chitika does not show blank space in other countries. In other words, Chitika | Premium Ad code does not work in other countries. That is the highlight of this product. Similarly, Chitika | Premium product users can show a banner of header of any website when this product does not show ads. This feature may not useful for all Chitika publishers. Publishers can display advertisements between Title and article in website or blog site. So, publishers can easily convert US traffic into more site revenue.
